EZTM JSC manufactures plants for production of large diameter welded tubes (LDWP). The plants are intended for production of tubes from 530 to 1620 mm OD. Such equipment successfully operates at Russian and foreign metallurgical enterprises. Tubes made by these plants are used for main gas and oil pipelines construction purpose.

Each plant is a massive complex consisting of the mill line itself as well as tube finishing facilities such as surface cleaning, non destructive inspection, expanding, hydrotesting, mechanical treatment and preparation for shipment.

Both sheet and coiled steel stock can be use for welded tube production.

High quality of tubes is provided by gas shielded and submerged arc welding (SAW) which is carried out in several stages with 2-4 electrodes. The process begins with a technological weld followed by outside and inside working welds.
