Metal-Expo’2007, the 13th International Industrial Exhibition, the key event for Russian metallurgists and their international colleagues was held in the middle of November in Moscow. This time the biggest metallurgical forum in the CIS and Eastern Europe was attended by many key persons of the steel industry including delegations from the EU and China which made it really special.  

Mr. Andrey Dementyev, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation, Mr. Andrey Deineko, Director of Department of Industry, Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation, Mr. Abraao Carvalho, Head of Unit of Steel, Non-Ferrous Metals and Other Materials, European Commission, Mr. Serafim Kolpakov, President of the International Metallurgists’ Union, Mr. Serafim Afonin, President of the Russian Union of Metal Exporters, Mr. Vitaly Sadykov, Director General of ChTPZ Group, Mr. Alexander Romanov, President of the Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers etc. took part in the Official Opening Ceremony of Metal-Expo’2007.During the 4 days the exhibition was visited by more than 30 000 heads of specialists in the steel industry, machine-building, metalworking, transportation, logistics etc. More than 700 companies from 32 countries participated in Metal-Expo. Representatives of metal and steel products consuming enterprises from such segments as machine-building, construction, transportation, etc. discussed with competent specialists matters related to buying of raw materials and finished products.

Actual events on raw materials, transportation, wire and mesh products, education, equipment and technologies for ferrous and non-ferrous metals production and processing, aluminium, zinc etc. composed a congress part of the forum.

Metal-Expo became a negotiation site between steel producers and consumers, between different segments of the industry operating on the domestic and international markets allowing to make more innovative steps towards the development of the industry.

All this will eventually further development of the world steel industry and strengthening of cooperation between steel companies. 

EZTM JSC took part in the event. Specialists working at our booth (69B-01, hall 69) presented a new production intended for metallurgical industry, new developments and etc. Every visitor who came to our booth was able to find out useful information Upon completion EZTM JSC was awarded with a honorary diploma.
