a new clinker burning furnace at PRUP Krichevtsementnoshifer

Commissioning of a new clinker burning furnace at PRUP Krichevtsementnoshifer allows to increase cement production by 50% from 1.1 million ton up to 1.7 million ton. Rotary kiln and grate cooler "Volga 75" are manufactured by EZTM JSC.

Construction and equipment installation works are done by Belarus companies.

The rotary kiln Ø 4,5х5х170 m has 8 supporting blocks and 8 tyres: 6 floating tyres and 2 tyres installed on blocks 7 and 8. The kiln is driven from a 3-stage gear with a 630 kW direct current motor. Dust can be returned both in the kiln cold and hot ends. The kiln is equipped with a combined burner FCT/GT/NG-120. Kiln and cooler control is fully automated.

Fuel consumption is 270 kg of standard fuel per one ton of clinker under sludge humidity of 43,6% and spreadability of 50 mm.

The grate cooler cools clinker up to 50°-60°C with thermal efficiency of 70%.

Dust from the kiln and the cooler is collected by electrical precipitators Alstom Power Stavan. Emission is less than 48 mg/1m³ under 50 mg/m³ MPC.

The furnace reached capacity amounted to 61 ton of clinker per hour in the first quarter of 2008 and it will reach 65 ton/hour by the end of the second one.
