Tube multiroll straighteners

EZTM, JSC produces the following types of cross roll straighteners used for final high accuracy straightening of various types of tubes, shells and round bars:

• straightener with 3 roll cages;

• straightener with 4 roll cages;

• straightener with 5 roll cages.



The equipment manufactured by EZTM, JSC may be applied for straightening of the wide range of tubes with the diameters from 25mm to 550mm and wall thickness varied from 1mm to 25 mm and for the round bar the diameter of which is 25-300 mm.

Straighteners with 3 roll cages are intended for straightening of rough tubes and the tubes within the mill lines. This type of machines provides straightening accuracy of not more than 1mm/m.

Straighteners with 4 and 5 roll cages are intended for OCTG.

These machines are distinguished by the wide variety of applicable technological schemes depending on the roll dies settings. These straighteners provide straightening accuracy of not more than 0.5 mm/m.

Machine working tools are straightening rolls mounted in separate rotating cases on the antifriction bearings.

Tube straightener roll sizing is critical for the quality of straightening and the straightened product surfaces quality. Striaightener rolls of EZTM make have optimal shape providing for maximum contact of the round stock with the roll and ensuring its deformation required at straightening.



EZTM, JSC also offers cross roll machines with longer bodies of the middle roll couple. These rolls have special shapes ensuring forced bending of the round stock under straightening within the cage providing for the high quality of ends straightening

Special three roll machines may be offered for straightening of the high accurate precision tubes. These straighteners ensure straightening quality not worse than 0.3 mm/m along the entire length of the tube.

Straighteners of EZTM make are provided with automated systems of straightening process control.

By the system of visualization and process control the operator can monitor the current technological parameters of the straightener work and operational modes from his working place equipped with a monitor.



Communication of the straightener personnel and the automated control system solves the following tasks:

• input of straightening program for tubes of the given size;

• straightening program correction, if required;

• straightening process parameter control;

• indication of the readiness and status of the straightener systems;

• collection, processing and storage of the manufacturing data ( straightener parameters, straightening power parameters etc.).
